I am also in the same situation. It has been over two months since I submitted my manuscript, and the status has been jumping back and forth between "selecting" and "assigning". Just a few days ago, it was still "selecting for review", but yesterday it suddenly changed to "evaluating reviews". Does this journal actually have an "under review" process?

Last year, I submitted an article and waited for six months before being informed that the reviewers were reviewing it. This year, I submitted another article and have been waiting for two to three months still trying to find reviewers... jumping between select and assign.
