On the 4th day after submitting the manuscript, it turned into DIP. How long does DIP usually last? I have sent three emails to follow up, but it's still DIP on the 4th day today with no response. I am frustrated.

COVID-19 related meta, submitted on 6.26, resubmitted after formatting revisions on 6.29, minor revisions on 7.19, accepted on the same day after revisions on 7.22, online on 8.1. The overall speed is relatively fast, reviewers and editors are very nice, efficient, and quick to respond. Although the impact factor dropped a bit this year, the disciplinary influence is still good, overall it is still a good journal.

4.2 Submitted, first status date on April 5th, second status date on April 17th, all under review. May I ask if this timeline is currently normal? I inquired with customer service and they mentioned that one reviewer has provided comments and four reviewers are currently reviewing the paper. They are also in the process of finding additional reviewers. Could I ask if this status is appropriate for requesting an expedited review? I am anxious to accept for graduate school applications
