Sharing experiences: Just received an article. It feels really challenging! I specialize in HBV-HCC for my Master's and Ph.D., and have also published several articles. I only started getting involved in blood diseases two years ago due to work reasons. Submitted on 2022-01-11, had the first chance for revision on 2022-02-03, which took three months. With three reviewers, although their feedback was positive, I had to conduct a lot of experiments on mice. The second revision was on 2022-05-23, and only one reviewer had issues. I requested an additional month from the journal to conduct extensive mouse experiments. Submitted again on 2022-07-22 and finally accepted on 2022-08-04. Many thanks to the associate editor and the three reviewers, as they raised important questions that greatly improved the quality of the article. BLOOD, truly a leading journal in blood diseases. Two words to describe the experience: really difficult
